Don’t hold back

Ever have an idea and put it on the shelf because it feels too important to share yet? You want to wait until you’re a little bit better. You don’t want to “waste” your idea through poor execution. Maybe you want to wait until your audience is bigger. The impact of the idea will be so much greater!

But how do we know that? We don’t. In fact, I believe we’re being selfish when we hold back on sharing our work. Or we’re afraid of rejection.

But we’re not pioneers in self-doubt.. We’re not the first to feel or think these things. Although we act like we are, we aren’t alone.

Don’t hold back. Get your ideas out there. How else will we hone our craft if we don’t open the valve and let our creativity flow freely?
