Stop Playing Games
Literally. Played a video game, alone, for two hours. That time is gone.
Yeah, sure, blowing of steam. Had a great time. Nothing wrong with that. In fact we need that. Every now and again. It was only two hours…what’s the big deal? And no, games aren’t inherently evil. We should play games with each other. Learning and building community together.
Being mindful of the context of the game is key.
Because our time is finite.We get one shot at this. There are no 1-ups. No magic mushrooms.
Read. Work on the blog. Draw. Write the script for that audio drama. Spend quite time reflecting and working on spiritual growth. Play a tabletop game with some friends.
Stop playing games. Frivolously. Unless that’s the desired outcome. Know what’s at stake and accept the consequences.
