What’s your opinion?
That’s the only time we should give our opinion. When we’re asked. Otherwise, we face rejection for butting in where we don’t belong.
But if someone reads your blog, subscribes to your podcast, or calls you a friend, they have asked. They want your opinion. Your thoughts on the topic. They can’t get YOU anywhere else.
So give it without reserve. Unafraid of perception. They already care. They’re already listening. They already value you enough to give you their time and attention.
But be wise with the gift of their time. Render your opinion with care. Never offer a harsh opinion without thought and consideration to the receiver’s reaction. And accept when your opinion is wrong.
But that’s my opinion.
